User-friendly with a good user interface and an easy setup
Pros and Cons
- "The initial setup is very easy."
- "I'm not sure if Google Drive has a customizing feature, however, if it did, then it would be better."
What is our primary use case?
I use it for mail purposes. I use Gmail and I use it for mailing people. I also use Google Slides for presentations and Google Sheets for data. It also has Google Docs, which I use for documents.
What is most valuable?
Its user interface is great. It's user-friendly. You don't have to look for support when using it.
Even the presentations and the docs, when you need formatting, it's all available there. Its reliability is very good and it syncs with the cloud.
We can mutually work on a document. It's great for real-time editing.
The initial setup is very easy.
What needs improvement?
I haven't come across any area that's really lacking.
I'm not sure if Google Drive has a customizing feature, however, if it did, then it would be better. We'd like the flexibility of customizing the way you want it to look.

The solution is very stable and reliable. There are no bugs or glitches, and it doesn't crash or freeze. Its performance is good.

Senior Manager, Engineering at a computer software company with 10,001+ employees
A user-friendly and reliable mail engine that is scalable, easy to install, and has a good calendar
Pros and Cons
- "The calendar is the most valuable feature."
- "The synchronization is a bit of an issue."
What is our primary use case?
The primary use case of this solution is our mailbox engine.
What is most valuable?
The calendar is the most valuable feature.
The mail and many other options can be managed on Gmail.
The calendar is something that we are using extensively.
The interface is user-friendly.
What needs improvement?
The synchronization is a bit of an issue. In Gmail and the G Suite, there is synchronization in the inbox and at times it doesn't sync the way it's supposed to.
Synchronization is an issue that I would like to see resolved.
Also, there are issues when you have an attachment. It may be a problem with my company or an issue with the policy of my company, but it is a universal issue. For example, if you are on your Google account and there are attachments on your calendar, then when you do the synchronization, the calendar attachment won't attach.
This is a problem that occurs some of the time but not always. It would be helpful to correct this issue.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using G Suite Enterprise for one year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
This is a stable product.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
You can scale it easily. Internally they use Google Cloud, which has several features to increase it.
We have more than 10,000 users in our organization.
How are customer service and technical support?
We have not had the need to contact technical support.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
G Suite is not great when you compare it to Microsoft Outlook, but it works.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup was very straightforward.
It took a couple of hours to deploy.
What about the implementation team?
The deployment was done in-house.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Licensing costs are on a yearly basis.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We have not evaluated other solutions. We knew this was the one we wanted.

I absolutely recommend this solution to others.
I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

Development manager at ASDAG
The solution is intuitive and easy to start using
Pros and Cons
- "The solution is very intuitive."
- "There are too many steps for sharing pictures."
What is our primary use case?
I use this solution for emailing, checking calendars, and storing data in Google Drive.
What is most valuable?
I find Google Mail within Workspace to be very convenient. This is one of the reasons why I started using Google services. Tools like Google Sheets and Google Docs are much better than Microsoft Office. Google Workspace is much more intuitive and convenient than Microsoft Office.
What needs improvement?
In Google Photos, if you want to share some pictures and generate a view link to send it to somebody else, you have to go through five steps, which is absolutely silly, in my opinion. There are too many steps; this should be an easy task if you want to share five pictures with your friends.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using this solution for ten years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The solution is very stable. I faced no problems personally.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
This is a scalable solution.
How are customer service and support?
Getting technical support is difficult for this product. You can write an email to the support team, but personal contact is difficult; you can't call someone directly.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have used Microsoft Office, but it's not as intuitive as this solution.
How was the initial setup?
It's an online service, and installation is not needed. No maintenance is required for this solution.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I am paying for storage, but the price is average, it's not so expensive.
What other advice do I have?
I would advise others to use Google Workspace because it's very intuitive. The entry threshold of the solution is not high. Some systems are very difficult to use and understand at the beginning, but it's quite the opposite in Google Workspace. I would rate the solution an eight out of ten.

IT Manager at KEF Holdings Limited
The speed and agility of the product are its primary features
Pros and Cons
- "The most valuable features are the speed at which G Suite Enterprise works."
- "I have had issues with my Google Address Book. I have an address book and it is available to everyone, but I cannot add additional users. In Microsoft Outlook, I could easily share certain contacts with other members of my team, but I cannot do so on G Suite."
What is most valuable?
The most valuable features are the speed at which G Suite Enterprise works. I also like the archiving features which is also much faster than in other solutions on the market. In addition, Google Maps has been a valuable asset to share within my department, users in my organization, or in my user groups. All of the above features are easy to use and entirely secure.
What needs improvement?
I have had issues with my Google Address Book. I have an address book and it is available to everyone but I cannot add additional users. In Microsoft Outlook, I could easily share certain contacts with other members of my team but I cannot do so on G Suite. Also, 90% of the world is still using MS Outlook, so more users need to convert to the G Suite side.
For how long have I used the solution?
One to three years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
It is stable but we have had issues receiving emails from people who use Outlook. Sometimes it connects and sometimes it does not receive all the mail so we will have an incident where users have seen the mail via the browser in their inbox, but when they go into Outlook, it disappears. This has caused some concern for people in my organization. Some employees have lost important emails due to this problem. We opened tickets with Google but they said it is a problem with the fact that an Outlook platform was used. I have a feeling that it is not just my organization that is experiencing this issue.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I find the scalability is really normal. All one has to do is to notify the other partner or integrator if they want to increase the amount of users, and it is complete within a few hours. It is easy and simple.
How are customer service and technical support?
We have not really used tech support directly. We have a partner that helps us with tech issues.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We previously used Microsoft Exchange and N-Notes.
How was the initial setup?
It was very easy to implement. It took maybe two or three days to deploy.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The pricing is a bit on the higher side than normal. For a basic Google account it costs $100, but Enterprise is $150. Compared to other solutions on the same level, the pricing seems a bit high.

Pros and Cons
- "The product is user-friendly and knows how to appeal to a user. Google Docs accepts some of our requirements. Its most valuable feature is performance. The product's integrations are good."
- "Google Workspace needs to be more flexible, like Microsoft Excel."
What is most valuable?
The product is user-friendly and knows how to appeal to a user. Google Docs accepts some of our requirements. Its most valuable feature is performance. The product's integrations are good.
What needs improvement?
Google Workspace needs to be more flexible, like Microsoft Excel.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the product for a couple of years.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
My company has 400 users.
How was the initial setup?
The tool's deployment is easy. It is a cloud solution, and you must just log in to use it. You need a team of ten resources to deploy it.
What about the implementation team?
Google Workspace's deployment can be done in-house.
What was our ROI?
We have enjoyed benefits like time, money, data acquisition, and records with the tool's use.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The solution is expensive.
What other advice do I have?
I rate Google Workspace an eight out of ten. The product has a high level of security and I haven't encountered any kind of violation.

Sales representative at LizardFS
A platform that requires very little technical expertise to use
Pros and Cons
- "The solution is easy to use, and you don't need a lot of knowledge for it."
- "Google needs to improve its support."
What is most valuable?
The solution is easy to use, and you don't need a lot of knowledge for it. Also, if anyone changes a document in the workspace, you can set up messages telling you if someone changes a document.
What needs improvement?
Google needs to improve its support.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've used the solution for around ten years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I rate the solution's stability an eight out of ten because it can always be improved.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The solution is scalable since it's just software. We have about ten users in my company on the solution, and we plan to increase the number of users. We have people in IT, the manager, and the sales department using the solution.
How are customer service and support?
The quality of support depends because sometimes they are very fast. By contrast, if I want to change a registered number from mobile to landline, Google tells me it's impossible because it violates their rules. I must then send them proof that the landline belongs to the company. But I should be able to change it without questions since I own the account. I have a similar problem with changing the location because Google has set my location to the next building. I've tried five times already, but it only shows the proper building for 20 minutes before returning to the other one.
Tech support either doesn't answer requests, or you have to open a new ticket.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is straightforward. It took five minutes to deploy the solution. To deploy the solution, I needed to create a login, and then I got access to spreadsheets or any other documents.
What about the implementation team?
You don't need any IT people to deploy the service. You can do it yourself. In my company, two people in the IT department are looking at deployment and maintenance, helping with IT problems.
What other advice do I have?
Google Workspace is good for everybody. Everyone can participate in editing documents. Moreover, you don't have to send any documents. You just need to log into your Google account, and you will have access. Likewise, you can access documents from anywhere if you have the Internet.
I rate the solution an eight out of ten and recommend others use it.

Founder Director at a renewables & environment company with 1-10 employees
Affordable communications and collaborations solution
Pros and Cons
- "Valuable features of the solution are that it's simple and effective."
- "To a degree, the project management service could be improved."
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for the solution is communications and to extend collaboration mostly around spreadsheets and a few groups, but mainly just to get teams on. We're working with fairly small teams, so I don't need a complex project management system at this stage. More and more I'm looking at using ClickUp somewhere down the line.
What is most valuable?
Valuable features of the solution are that it's simple and effective. The thing that I use most is access to documentation and being able to download a print; those are handy features for what I do. In general, basic communication administration.
What needs improvement?
To a degree, the project management service could be improved. I see the product is picking up task management specifically and we're trying to move away from emails as far as possible, but still sticking to the task management aspect.
Another area of improvement would be on the conversation side if you use the chat functions; it's a bit all over the place. But it again comes back towards the project management side, or rather workflow. To me, everything is a project, that's how I approach that.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've been using G Suite since it was Google apps, and that was around 2009.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The stability is fine. I would rather think the local networks are falling apart, so the response times are sometimes slow, but it's not really Google related, it's network related.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The scalability is fine. I've got one site with 50 users, so scalability doesn't really matter that in that environment. On the Google apps platform, it doesn't matter if you have one, or 10, or 100 users really, because each user is just functioning on its own space.
How are customer service and support?
I have not needed Google support in the reseller environment. I once needed to recover a Gmail address, which somebody created for a company and then disappeared, so there's quite a lot of information on there. And Google actually didn't help me, we had to find another way to recover it.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Prior to using G Suite, I used to run quite large projects on Microsoft Project. But that was before cloud was really involved.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is straightforward. To integrate apps into G Suite is actually fairly simple. We're fortunately not sitting with a lot of disparate systems. I add one project and then I use IT to sync.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I would say the pricing is very affordable. To me it's cheaper to run a couple of users in a Google platform than what it would be with Microsoft Exchange. But of course, you've got Microsoft Cloud now, so I'm using that as well because clients require that.
What other advice do I have?
When considering G Suite, the key is moving from the old environment, Outlook, or whatever the case might be. I wouldn't use Outlook. I would just stick to the Google interface. But my advice is, if you want change, you've got to plan properly because you'll use it often. That is probably the biggest challenge.
I sell the product, and I would recommend it. I would rate the solution an eight out of ten.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Public Cloud
If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?
Google
